Our gear
We’re often asked about the gear we use to record our music and film our performances. Whether we’re in the studio, out filming a cover on location, or performing at a wedding, we rely on a compact but high-quality setup to capture our sound and style.
Below you’ll find a list of our core gear — from microphones and audio interfaces to cameras and accessories. These are the tools we trust and use regularly in our creative process.

Audio Recording – Studio and Outdoors
-
Microphone (Studio) – Rode NTK
High-quality condenser mic we often use for vocals and acoustic guitar in our home studio. -
Audio Interface – Focusrite Scarlett 4i4
Our go-to interface for home recording. Compact and reliable. -
Headphones – Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO Studio Headphones
Used for monitoring while recording and mixing. -
Microphone (Live, Outdoor) – Zoom H2n Recorder
Sturdy recorder with multiple stereo recording configurations and great audio quality. We recommend using it with a wind muff to prevent wind noise during outdoor sessions. -
Wind Muff for Zoom H2n – The Lord of the Tools Microphone Furry Cover
A wind muff we use with the Zoom H2n to block wind interference when recording outdoors.

- Camera Lens – Panasonic Lumix 25mm F1.7 (micro-four-thirds)
Used with the Panasonic Lumix G7. Offers more shallow depth of field than the kit lens, to achieve a more realistic, cinematic look.

Some of our newer videos are shot with this. A larger camera (full-frame), good for handheld dynamic shots, and shoots log footage for advanced colour grading in post.
- Camera Lens – Panasonic LUMIX S-R2060E (20–60mm, F3.5–5.6)
Used with the Panasonic Lumix S5ii. A good kit lens for shooting with zoom.
